7. SMS/Text Messaging Policy

This section explains how AutomateAnything.ai collects and uses information about you in relation to its text message marketing or communication programs, including SMS and WhatsApp (collectively, the "Messaging Service"). We may use third-party providers like Twilio to provide the Messaging Service to you, acting as our service provider and data processor. We only manage inbound and transaction-related communication.

7.1 WhatsApp Communications:

AutomateAnything.ai only uses WhatsApp to send messages that are either:

  1. transactional in nature (e.g., support updates, appointment confirmations), or
  2. explicitly requested by the user through a clearly labeled WhatsApp opt-in form, or
  3. in response to inbound communication from a user.

No unsolicited promotional messages are sent via WhatsApp. We strictly adhere to WhatsApp's Acceptable Use and Business Messaging Policies. All messages sent via WhatsApp outside of the 24-hour session window are submitted as pre-approved message templates in accordance with WhatsApp's messaging framework.

7.2 Information Collected via Messaging Service:

We collect information you provide when using the Messaging Service, including the phone number you provided when signing up. When you send or receive messages via the Service (e.g., SMS, WhatsApp), we will also collect your messaging history and any information included in those messages. We may use cookies or similar technologies to personalize your experience (e.g., sending personalized text messages). If you participate in contests, surveys, or contact customer service via SMS or other messaging platforms covered by this policy, we will collect the information you provide.

7.3 Use of Messaging Information:

We use your information collected via the Messaging Service to deliver, analyze, maintain, support, and enhance the Service, and to customize and personalize your experiences.

7.4 Sharing of Messaging Information:

As stated in Section 6, we do not share, sell, or trade any mobile information, SMS/WhatsApp opt-in data, phone numbers, or message content with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may share mobile information with service providers solely to assist in providing the Messaging Service, customer support, and related services. These parties are permitted to use the information only for delivering the requested services and are bound by confidentiality agreements. Other sharing follows the principles outlined in Section 6 (e.g., legal requirements, business transfers).

7.5 Opting In to Messaging Service:

You might opt-in to our Messaging Service by methods such as entering a phone number online, sending a message (SMS, WhatsApp, etc.) with a specific keyword, filling out a form including your phone number, or signing up at a point-of-sale or event.

7.6 Opting Out of Messaging Service:

Consent to receive automated marketing text messages (including SMS and WhatsApp) is not a condition of any purchase. You can opt-out of receiving further commercial messages via the Messaging Service by responding to any of our messages with keywords such as STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT, or by using the specific opt-out mechanisms provided within the messaging platform (like WhatsApp blocking features). We will typically send a confirmation message once you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive marketing messages via that specific channel (e.g., SMS, WhatsApp) from us. To rejoin, sign up again as you did initially. We reserve the right to send essential administrative messages related to the service even if you opt-out of marketing messages.

7.7 Messaging Service Customer Care:

If you experience problems with the Messaging Service (SMS, WhatsApp, etc.), please contact us using the details in Section 8 below.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable physical, technical, administrative, and organizational security measures based on the sensitivity of the information we collect to protect your information against accidental or unlawful destruction or loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or access. However, no online activity can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot ensure or warrant its absolute security and do not accept liability for unintentional disclosure.

9. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our Services, fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, comply with applicable legal obligations, resolve disputes, protect us and our customers, and enforce our agreements.

10. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your Personal Information, such as the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict its processing. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the information below. Note that withdrawing consent (Section 2.4) or requesting deletion may affect your ability to use certain Services.
